Translated in the French "Laurousee" dictionary as "to let do", "don't interfere".  I am seeing it played out daily.  It seems that no one is in any rush to help me.  Whether it be my emails about schools, apartments, Human Resources, contract departments or relocation companies.  It is really getting on my nerves.  I am an American for goodness sakes and we all suffer from anxiety, high blood pressure,  heart problems, and the like  due to our need  for speed.  "Someone answer me" is what I want to scream.

Do you think there is a lesson in this for me?  Anyone who knows me, knows that I am the girl with a list and I like to cross off each item upon completion.  I guess some things in life don't get "crossed off" when you want them to.....

Hi...found your blog because of your pending Paris move. I'll be very interested to read about your journey into this new culture. I'm Canadian and am hoping/planning to go to Paris and Nice for 3 months next fall...if everything works out the way I hope anyways. lol

Gina,
Its called being patient. God is in this move, and things will happen in His time. We have to remember we are the ones in a hurry, not Him. He knows you need these things crossed off your list. When we went from moving from Cali to Missouri, I was like you. Things seemed to be moving good, then all of a sudden it was like things came to a hault. It was during that time I had to be still and remember God, I was talking to God like "hello God remember me, you have opened all these doors and now nothing is going on, no more phone calls, still haven't found our house, still waiting on confirmation of Tim's new job, and everything is still, are you still working on our behalf, do you realize there is a deadline coming up" And as silly as all that may sound, I was thinking I knew how to go about it all my way, instead of God intervening. It was all about trusting him, and learning to be patient.
