Paris Chic vs. Mommy Frump 12/01/2009
Daydreaming of the beautiful dresses I saw in the windows along Rue Saint Honore, a very "ritzy titzy" street where all the beautiful people shop. I am not sure where I would actually wear these dresses but I loved them nonetheless. Reality creeps in as I hear Sophie coughing and Max sneezing and "Ice Age 3" trickling down from the playroom. The kids are home from school sick and I am sitting in my sweats addressing Christmas cards, answering emails and phone calls. Such a challenge to remember that I am still a girl and enjoy looking "fancy" yet the Mommy role beckons too many times at this age. So I don my uniform of sweats or jeans and a t-shirt and care for my munchkins. CommentsLindastamps Tue, 01 Dec 2009 06:42:32 Ooo that first dress is sooo purty!
