I finally don't feel embarrassed to give you a peak into our little french beauty.  We had our boat shipment delivered on Thursday and after I unpacked at warp speed to get rid of our boxes, organize and my personal favorite; re-arrange.  I have a glimpse of our sweet girl for you.  She is so dreamy and I haven't even shopped the flea markets or flower shops for her jewelry and make-up.  It's all about accessorizing, isn't it?!

So come on in, have a look around.............
Picture
Picture
Climb up the five flights of stairs (or take the teeny elevator) to our front door.  Notice the sunlight trying to escape into the hallway.
Picture
Her bright and warm yellow walls greet us everytime we enter with a smile, even on a cloudy and grey day.
Picture
Her windows are flung open acting as her arms to embrace us.  Do you hear the churchbells, the birds, the children playing in the Catholic school?  What about the motorcycles zipping by?

These pictures are a bit overexposed, but you get the idea.  We have our dinners at the dining room table every night.  Breakfast and afternoon snacks are in the kitchen which I will post when the kitchen is presentable.  Sorry Mom, but it is coming.

I will let you soak in her beauty.  This is no crush for me but a full fledged love affair with our girl!

I like how the stairs are carpeted and the chandelier. Did that come with the apartment, or did you have to install it yourself. Also like the detail work on the balcony, but can't tell it is a plant or iron work. How lucky you are to have such a nice apartment!

Oh Gina you were so right it is beautiful. So European small but quaint. I love everything about it.

No doubt many changes and things to get use to but what a wonderful place to spend your days and nights while doing it.

So happy for all of you.

Why don't I ever see something this lovely on House Hunters International? I love the detail on the panels at the bottom of the yellow walls. Love the yellow walls. It looks modern and comfortable and so much brighter than I had imagined.

hey sweetie, haven't kept up cuz of work and have so enjoyed hearing about your first week in gay paree!! it all seems dizzying to me with all you guys have had to do and the kids starting their new school - but it wasn't until i read this segment that it really hit me - it's really real and they are going to have an adventure of a life time. mostly though, it was looking at the pics of your glorious flat and how you have already made it the safe and comforting place that a true home should be. on good days and bad it's knowing that you have that safe haven that keeps your heart smiling. i could go on and on but i'll stop with how much i'm looking forward to more tales of max's speedos, sophie's blossoming knowledge of her soon to be second language, dan's work journey and you sweet gina, finishing up your kitchen and discovering what's waiting around the corner. xox

Thanks for sharing your pictures. So quaint and welcoming. I sometimes miss the condo/apt life. It gives you time to enjoy the other things in life and not have to tend to the house. Enjoy the simple lifestyle as you mentioned awhile back. Hugs and Kisses to you all,
