Did I just wash my clothes with dishwashing detergent?.
Picture
As you can see, it was an easy mistake.  The boxes sit  next to each other under the sink and they both have a tiny tablet to use.

I am not embarrassed to say that I folded the clothes and put them away.  They were clean enough for me.  Who cares if I could see my reflection in my socks.  I was not about to do another load of laundry.  It takes a minimum of 2 hours and that does not include drying.

I definitely would have thought the blue box was for the dishwasher. That must be the color connection we're brainwashed into through advertising in the States. Clean enough!
And thanks for not being one of those whiny Americans who goes some place fabulous and complains about all the things you miss from back home, like blue boxes for the dish soap.

no way!! 2 hours?? how come so long?? do you have a washer/dryer in your apartment??

re dan's trip.....i can feel his concern about leaving his familly so newly entrenched. give him a hug for me for being such a sweetie. i'm sure when he returns he will see what a stellar job you have done keeping the home fires burning as he is buried in hugs and kisses. i'm thinking your "lady" light in the kitchen makes a great beacon, reminding you three that daddy will be home before you know it!! xoxo

How can you not get confused when things are packaged so strangely!

I hope your plates and glasses don't come out of the dishwasher soft and fluffy.....!

Sometimes I wonder if I put any detergent in the dishwasher or washing machine at all! At least you got something in there....
